It was exactly like the picture. I looked for a few weeks prior to settling on this one. I have it in my craft room. I sew, create floral arrangements, paint and do puzzles in that room. I wanted something solid, comfortable and would roll easily on carpet. It checks all my boxes! Quick delivery, it came a week early.The only one was the instructions show the equipment for raising and lowering backwards, follow the instructions in the piece of metal it come on or you'll be taking it off and putting it back on.I got this for a replacement work chair. At first it was OK, but after sitting in it for some very long days I did start to notice issues with my shoulders. The base is nice and wide like I wanted so I could sit normally or crosslegged when I wanted a change. I think if I had something like a vanity that I used only sporadically during the day I might like it more. For a home office with around 8 hour days of sitting or more maybe not the best. I wish I had noticed this while still in the return window as it is very large and expensive and not sure I can make my money back. I will point out when I built this the base wasn't super sturdy if I lean back a bit. If I stretch my back while in the chair it wobbles a bit and I immediately feel like I may fall back. Maybe it's my issue with the assembly but I've assembled many furniture pieces in my life and never had this experience.I ordered this to replace an old office chair with plastic legs. I love the color. I sit more upright in this chair which for me is good. The cushioning is average and I make a point to push myself back into the curved seat back. The curved back is cozy. Easy to put together. The color looks washed out in the photos, but it's a soft blue green.The chair looks like the picture. It’s soft and cushy. This chair is for sitting only for a couple hours. The back position of this chair is not made for full day but is great for a couple hours. It’s exactly as listed above. Happy with my purchase.Even more beautiful in person. I knew I wanted something with a comfortable seat and I'm so glad that I found this one. It fits great under my desk and even tilts up as you're getting up to make it a little easier to stand. Very happy with my purchase. The velvet is so soft and looks exactly like the picture, even the legs look rustic like the pic.The chair is comfy and has a wide seat. The color I ordered was green but it’s definitely more blue. Still pretty though!
