I work remotely a few days a week, so I needed to purchase a desk to set up shop. However I had just moved and didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars for one. This desk is not only inexpensive, but roomy and very sturdy. You see some budget desks that look cheap or rickety, not the case here. As for assembly, I'm the least handy person out there, believe me, and I was able to put it together all by myself. Friendly piece of advice: get a power drill if you don't have one - makes the process much easier and quicker! When the package arrived at my place, the box was a little worse for wear, but the pieces are securely packaged inside with lots of padding so there wasn't a scratch anywhere. I like the added shelves on the side for extra storage. Highly recommend!
